Best time to get ducks?

Is there a specific time of year that's best to get your ducks? I will be moving into my new home within the next 10-12 weeks, it's all ready set up for ducks. Will I be able to get some then, or will I have to wait until Spring? TIA

It really depends on if you want adults, babies or rescues, domestics or ornamental... what are you after and where are you based?
