i have had great pleasure in hatching five d anvers i bought them
bieng quail colour now two of the chicks are black and the three are
like a blue colour is this normal for them to go the quail colour i dont mind
if they arent as they are great little critters and so tame i usualy breed the large
fowl and this is the first time i have hatched this breed any one out there to help
would greatly be apreaciated thankyou Tony

the quail chicks should be a browny colour with a cream eyestripe and black patches.
it is possible to get blacks, lavenders etc out of too close breeding, weve had quails and lavenders out of blacks this year.
