Last night the electricity went off-yet again. The trouble is not knowing how long this will last. Husband sent off with incubator wrapped in bubble wrap to friends with power , I squeezed another 2 eggs under an already full broody first. Then it was hot water bottles in brooder for chicks. If I hatched many guess I'd need a generator? 3os

we luckily have a generator ros cos last year we had a 9 hour power cut luckily no incys were on as its not a big genny so we managed to power the shed with the brooders and the kettle of course lol. ( i always need coffee in a crisis )
