Hi Guys, does anyone know if there is only one Manufacture of the automatic door opener/closer? The one that's on Wells poultry?

Yes, I think there is only one make. I purchased mine from www.woodenart.org.uk and they fitted it for me when I purchase the house and run. They're excellent, I'm so glad I decided to have one.

Agree with Sue. This product, although expensive, is superb. 
08 Had mine for over 2 years. Also use it in conjunction with the timer. This gives me total control over the opening and closing times. As I keep the banties on the allotment (about 300 yards away) I do not have to be there early to let them out!
I bought mine from Wells Poultry (I think they maybe the main uk agent) where I buy other products from on occasions and who offer excellent service.08

The reason i ask is im an eletrical engineer and see the door closer/opener system as an easy system for myself to design and build for myself but i didn't want to get in trouble if this system is patented. I agree is Wells offering a great service.
