Any Hamburgs out there??

I am seeing lots of breeds, some I recognise - lots I don't!!
But no one seems to be saying Silver Spangled Hamburg... I have one and she's gorgeous, she's got the softest feathers and the black ones have the lovely green sheen off of them.
And her nature is as soft as her feathers.. in fact I should be writing this in Breed of the month for March!! :lol: 17
Any other SSH Lovers out there???

Hi, i have pair of large fowl gold pencilled Hamburgs- not very common in the l/f- mainly bantams around.
They are pretty birds if somewhat flighty.

Well that's nice to know! I know what you mean about flighty! My girl is only a little bantam, I didn't even know you could get them as L/F! I have been onto google images for a nosey at your colour.... they're very pretty too

we had two gorgeous gold penciled hamburgs .... both turned out cockerels!
having said that, we had "Eva" for about a year, til "she" decided to be definitely male, with the most rawcous screech you've ever heard! :lol:

Hamburgs (gold or silver) are on my wishlist...

Hi,
I have a nice trio of Silver Spangled Hamburgs at the moment,not to flighty
and I can pick them up.I will be selling them this year because I want to concentrate
on Brahmas and Orpingtons.
Nice to know there are a few about though.
