Angry Broody and a Cheeky Young Lad.

This made me smile. Talk about precocious, our 10 week old OEG bantam boy who started crowing last week actually had the temerity to shake himself at one of our broody Silver Sussex who is about a week into sitting on a clutch of eggs and we had taken out for a drink and feed. She was so unimpressed and started trying to attack him through the wire, did he back down?, not a chance he was pecking at the wire as much as her. When you see the difference in their sizes you can see how ridiculous it looked, she was so outraged she went into a full on Turkey display, I loved how her tail feathers stood on end. Indeed Marigold, and he is very friendly and confident to boot which doesn't bode well either, you can never tell though.
