Does anybody on the forum keep Anconas? I have 4 girls and would be delighted to have a chat with them on the forum or PM.
Mine are a bit like naughty teenagers at the moment, delightful but a bit difficult and noisy. No eggs yet.
Yesterday whilst with them feeding and watering, one of them was absolutely demanding attention, by pecking my boots and generally refusing to leave me alone. I picked her up, it was the answer, she transformed into everybody's dream chicken, chatting, eye to eye contact etc., lovely and relaxed, practically crooning to me, she was fine after a cuddle.
