Yes I keep sitting looking at them- they have had loads of visitors cooing over them too - great time wasters but very relaxing - so absorbing it makes all the cares of the world disappear. Feel so lucky to have them
My 7 year old grandson has been following their progress and his face was a real picture when he saw them today he couldn't talk. He has taken the shell remains to take to school tomorrow to show his teacher and classmates - he went out of the house clutching an egg box with them in - holding it so carefully, grinning as if it was treasure.
That's brilliant,really pleased for you.See if when they are a bit older you could take some to your grandsons class for them to see them.Stuart's teacher used to love me going in,either with a rabbit,snakes,gerbils etc.
Stuart's class and teacher loved it when I took stuff in,the snakes were the most popular.Took my Royal Pythons,as they are my nicest snakes.
Also,if it helps to get children into keeping chickens it's well worth it.
