Hatched around 10th May and they followed the wife home when they were about 7 days old. Mum and her 6 chicks are doing well and just beginning to lose the scruffy look of the down moult. Only two cocks out of the 6 and one is beginning show who's boss-- till the other one shows him who is boss.
Don't know if we can keep either cockerell yet as I only heard the start of a "Crow" yesterday. It was more of a long squeak really with a slight change in note- but we will see how the neighbours like the sound before we find new homes for them.
