2 types of quail housing

i have seen this on ebay and i think it would make a great quail home

but i also have one of those ones that magwena posted pics of on another post { two storey rabbit hutch post } so what one do i go for :-)05 use what i have for now and just get 4 birds or treat them to a great new home and get maybe 6 to 8 birds umm decisions :lol: i have plenty of windbreak netting spare so either can be well protected agaisnt the bad weather even though the whole run is now netted about 1 metre high but they can have double protection .
 
i have seen that one on ebay, it's really nice, lots of room for them to move around.
Do they use a ramp, i have one put in my shed so they will have two levels, but i don't know if they will use it or not.
mine are still under the heat lamp at the moment not quite ready to live outside just yet.
Let me know how they get on if you buy it.
 
I shall be interested to know about the ramp as well, Rita. I just wonder if maybe they will need a bit if training to begin using it? As they're ground feeding birds that usually only seem to fly if startled, I wonder if they have any inclination to explore a higher level. Maybe a trail of mealworms might help?
 
i reckon they will use it in time good idea about leaving mealworms or some yummy treats in that section . i wont be geting it yet i got to wait about 4 weeks :( although that depends what i get for my brithday in a few weeks time of course ;) ohh i cant wait :lol:
