2 eggs a day?

I have just put my 3 ex-batts in with my 3 existing hens, and for the last 2 days I have got 7 eggs each day!! I think it must be one of the ex-batts that is laying 2 a day - is this normal?!

Hen's are programmed by light,battery hens have lights on timers so that they do lay 2 eggs a day.It should settle down to 1 a day,they are got rid off because of coming up to a moult/unable to keep the egg production up.
Make the most of it while it lasts .
