10 week Pekings starting to grow yellow feathers on chest??

Last weak or so I can see new feathers coming through on the cheat, there yellow?? Is this not
Al? Are these winter coat???

What colour are they meant to be Paddy? Maybe they are buff feathers?

They don't have winter feathering like mallards do..my drakes are just now losing their eclipse moult.

My white duck's feathers have a yellow tinge when they first come through after a moulte but turn white as they mature.

Pekins feathers are supposed to be yellow... wait til it snows you will really see the difference then!

They will go white though and sometimes they will seem white and yellow at the same time

Ah right that may explain it as they love moulting them selveS lol pullin there feathers out(not I'm an angry way) just while grooming haha, yes maybe that's it, thanks
