Hello, yes, they need their feathers- they shouldn't fly off if settled, well fed and have a mate. My muskovies fly everywhere and are always there at bed time- they just get into a routine and know where home and feed are. regards, David :)

Hello, sorry to say but if he can't walk, has sores and can't lead a normal life or have a good quality of life, in my opinion, i think it would be better to have him put to sleep. It's a very hard decision but you need to think of the bird and not your emotions- turkeys are meant to be out ...

Hello, she may improve in time- try to restrict her movement- can you keep her in for a few days? she should improve with rest - but it depends on how much damage has been done- if there are broken bones or if infection sets in. regards, David :)
