We keep a few ex-batts who have to all intents and purposes stopped laying. Except recently we found this egg in the nesting box. It was heavy and misshapen. I couldn't resist cutting it open and was surprised / shocked to find it solid - almost rubbery all the way through. Any ideas folks...
