I was wondering , I have three barnvelders & an araucana not quite a yr old , plus a three yrold warren cross There eggs are nowhere neat as big as the warrens ? Is it because there not as old ? Or just happens like that ? The barnvelders are easily as big as the warren now . Regards Simon

hi all ive never candled eggs before , as my last lot all hatched so i was lucky , but this time ive got 12 eggs in from two different sources.they been in 4 days and i looked at 5 and they look a bit like pic one on the candling section on here! is it too early to do this? regards simon

Would a rat be able to steal eggs & get them out the coop that's pretty well guarded with concrete and wire perimeter ? I see the odd hole but yesterday I had a dead mouse near the food bin and it was sort of punctured , would the rat be able to kill the mouse ? Only it left it alone , bizzare
