    Exchequer Leghorns.

    This strain is unbroken from the original Robert Miller of Denny and still going strong. Top layers and will go for around 5 years before slowing down in egg numbers. I have had them for about 45 years and they were in my extended family for years before I had them.

    Australorp Large Fowl.

    I keep a number of these. Very good layers.Good size table bird at maturity. Full grown 2year old cock will weigh around 11lb plus. Very laid back and easy going breed. Good ones difficult to find and expencive.
