My ducks have started to lay (woohoo). A couple of people have said to me that we should keep one egg in the nest at all times or they'll stop laying. Is this true? I've been picking up the eggs every day so far. We only have eating eggs, not fertile eggs. Thanks

Do anyone elses ducks hate them? My 2 Cherry Valley's will run away at the sight of me whereas my chickens come running over to me and love being chatted to and given treats. I try and give them lots of space and just go in their run to feed them, clean them out and change their bathing water...
