    last years young

Hi. I shall see if I can get some photos up. They are mostly of some lovely cockerels that I bred last year, with their hens.

    This year's batch.

Hi All, I have some new pictures of this years bunch, but I really must buy a decent camera. The old thing I've got gets worse by the day, which isn't helped by the fact that the moment they clock it they immediately turn their backs. I persuade 'em to turn round. They turn I press the button...

    last years babies grown

Hi everyone. I'm back! With some new photos which I hope I can get up. If you remember that far back I am trying to breed Crowned and Crested's. But they don't seem to want to settle into uniformity. The blue and black ones with the vulture hocks or clean legs don't seem to like wearing crowns...

    wanted modern game bantam eggs.

I have been trying to get some modern game eggs or chicks for a few years now. I only need half a dozen eggs just to get the breed integrated with my Cowned and Cresteds. Will also swop eggs.

new photos of crowned and crested

Not a terribly good year last year, although most of the girls have crowns. I didn't get any very notable cockerels though, although my neighbour gave me two Sebright cocks which of course will go into the breed!

New Home wanted for beloved peacocks.

Regrettfully I have to part with my peafowl pair, due to several factors. They are now middle aged but the female is laying more eggs than before. The male is lame but otherwise healthy. They will require an aviary at least 30ft square with a covered perch (with a soft landing area)about six...

    sick cockerel

Hi I have a bantam cock that does not appear sick but I noticed that one leg had lost feathers at the top and was looking very red. When I examined him I found the whole keel area and tops of both legs blood red in patches, and hairless. I don't think it is the usual sort of depluming mite. That...

    peacocks East Kent.

Hi All. I have two young brothers in urgent need of a new home. Very friendly. Would run with large breed chickens or turkeys, and brighten up your garden all year round. All they need is a high roost in a tall shed or tree, and the occassional handful of peanuts, to supplement the chicken feed.

    2peacocks for sale

Two peacock brothers for sale. (Kent).Should stay together without bickering, though if no female, it helps to have large chickens or other large pheasant or turkey females to keep them interested. Then they should stay if given treats and with a suitable roost site.- after initial confinement...

    young crowned an crested

Here are some slightly later pictures The first picture showes two cockerels with proounced vuture hocks. The white one at the back I may be keeping for next years breeding because he is unusually long in the leg which is what I want. The crowned and crested small cockerel below needs longer...

    new pictures this year's teenagers.

Here are some pictures of my maturing breed. I am thinking of splitting it into ornamental and egg laying types, since the checkered hens are larger and more prolific than the others, but are rarely crowned. Monarch is one of my best young C@Cs. He'll go into next year's breeding. The bearded...
