I am incubating 4 peafowl eggs in my Rcom 20 , set to automatic for peacocks , it has the humidity set at 70% , seems high to me , anyone else use an Rcom 20 ?

My three Rhode Islands hatched last June have still not started laying , anyone else having similar problems ?

I have recently hatched 3/5 call ducks and 3/5 silkies , the 4 that failed were all fertile and were fully formed but died in the shell , 60% is Ok I know , but this dying at the last minute is really annoying , anyone else having this problem ?

I intend using the hatchmaker for hatching only , I have set the temp. at 38.5 just above the where the top of the eggs(chicken) will be , do you reckon that's about right ?

I'm incubating some Rhode Islands on the auto cycle , the humidity has gone from 45% to 50% with 17 days still to go , is this right ? , thought it should stay on 45% till three from the end .

I wished I hadn't helped it now , won't make that mistake again , I'll try again next year , will probably add a polyhatch still air to my R-Com , going to do some chickens in the meantime .

Thanks for the welcome , three dead in shell at various stages , one hatched (with a lot of help) but was so weak it didn't survive , eggs bought thru ebay , the supplier was OK , I just think toulouse and the postal system don't mix , I have an R-Com Pro 20 , research indicates a still air...

have half a dozen mixed hens , used to keep ornamental ducks and looking to do so again , just had a total failure trying to hatch dewlap toulouse eggs , should have read this forum before I spent all that money.
