    Coco the mystery chicken...

I've just had a look at a couple of not very good photos of the pure bred Welsummers I had. Coco's tail and the neck colouring are about right but her neck appears to be very short. Also the markings on the feathers on her back are very pronounced - sorry can't remember the technical term...

    Cheery Pics

A couple of very good friends on here, knowing that I'm nearly at the end of the long steep road I've had to travel the last seven years sent me these today. I've met them once although I hope to meet up with them again. To me, this is a big part of what the forum is about. Although I haven't...

    Cheery Pics

Not much point in throwing it in the bin, but no way was he having it straight away as that would have been rewarding his bad behaviour. He's such a feisty little cat and he's obviously had quite a hard life - only half a tail and obviously stiff around the back legs but the medication helps...

    Cheery Pics

Well for all of you anyway! I was getting ready to have lunch today so got all the bits ad pieces out of the fridge so they wouldn't be so cold when I was ready to eat. I had the last piece of a neat small rolled shoulder of pork, which was wrapped in foil. When I returned to the kitchen a...

    Problems posting reply

On three separate occasions I've had problems posting a reply. When I click the "Submit" button I get a really strange, unintelligible message. If I think go back a page I find my reply is posted but also shows as a preview because another message has been posted in the meantime - MINE...

    What was she laying???

I'm really pleased she escaped serious injury but I'm quite puzzled as to what a little girl might lay on her bed or anywhere else for that matter :-)19 :? :-)05 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-51528831

Have you all been blown away?

There's a deafening silence on here. Hope you haven't been blown away by the gales. I seem to be fortunate and sheltered by some of the Shropshire Hills so although windy, there's no damage caused.

Apple scrumper caught in the act

I wish I knew how to take a video off Facebook or how to post a link to a post. A video clip was re-posted to Friends of Dyfi Osprey Project - a hen leaping to scrump an apple from an overhanging branch, successfully! If you're on Face book search for my post title and hopefully you can watch...

    Is there anybody there?

I know the weather has been pretty good for the last few days, but is there anybody out there? I'm sorry I don't have anything interesting to post except to say that all the ospreys have now left on their migration.
