    Best slow growing Free Range bird for the table.

    Can any one advise me which breed is best for free range, slow growing broiler/chickens that produce good quality large birds for the table. Would like to see if I can improve on the shop bought quality meat for myself and family. :D

    Metallic tasting eggs.

    Hello everyone. I am new to the forum. I have a hen that has started to lay metallic tasting eggs! She lives with 5 other hens and a cockerel. The other hen's eggs that are laying are fine. They free range most days. Has anyone experienced this?
