    wait can chickens swim??

    I never really gave this much thought - can my chickens swim? I've never really even seen them bathe in water. Dust baths, sure. They aren't really deterred by the rain much but I wonder if they could swim if they had to? lol

    I'm curious how this is done. If I were to hatch a clutch how could I realistically keep track of each one? Can I band them? If so, what size band?? Do you just number them? I've never done this before if you can't tell lol
