No, not in the slightest, it always seems that if you try to turn some of these creatures the right way they always turn back again. Certainly has been the case on the Thames when they have tried to send them seawards. The only exception being the Beluga Whale which did decide after a few months that the Gravesend area was ok for a visit, and was spotted swimming back to the river mouth and seen leaving.

Gravesend's not that bad!! It's got the Thames and Medway canal for a start...

Not to mention Pocahontas's grave with the lovely statue of her.

We used to enjoy childhood visits to Gravesend and the riverside park. Would go to Tilbury and get the ferry across. Nice fort remains to
