Here are our new girls having a good rummage around the Garden over the weekend. Got them last Saturday and they have settled in just great..

Happy chickens -my favourite sight Ontombose. We have our neighbour's pedigree Black Gascogne's wandering free around the place -Gordon the cock and his 5 hens. Had to be penned for 3 months because the surrounding sunflower crop gives cover for the foxes- they hated it. Now the crop is down and they are out with about 4 acres to wander in. Pretty birds and very suited to free ranging and the weather.
