My 2 little pekin girls, Ermintrude and Edeltraut, hatched in July, have just recently started laying too. Teeny little eggs only 29 - 32g each, which according to chrismahon's recent post, really is little! But both on a daily basis so we can hardly keep up - I'm so proud of them! Much better than their mum, Sybil, who is only laying intermittently and Myrtle, who hasn't laid anything since last autumn. Missed pancake night yesterday so just working up an appetite for scrambled eggs for lunch - 6 of them!
