2 pekins have gone broody at the same time and in the favourite nesting boxes, there are 3 but no1 is favourite, no 2 second favourite, and no 3 rarely gets used, the other girls are going in and laying in the boxes where they are brooding and as hard as i try to get the eggs, the broodies are adding them to their clutches, 1 is now probably sat on about 15 eggs, is this too many ( i'm guessing yes)
My incys are all full so can't steal them and put into an incy till next week.
I've always let the broodies stay in the coop with the others be4 and never really had a major problem with this be4.
What do you all do with broodies?

Hello, i always move my broodies out to seperate coops- otherwise you get the problems you are having, i.e. wrong nest, others laying in with them, fighting over eggs etc They will be much happier on their own and all the eggs will hatch at the same time. It is also less stressful on the hen, as she doesn't have to fight her corner.
Regards, David :)
