I was sold three hens last year as Bantams. They were only very small when i got them and they were very happy. But they grew and grew and grew until i realised they we not Bantams but large fowl. I have got them ID'd and ive been told that one is a Cuckoo Maran, one is a Buff Sussex and one is a Light Sussex. They are now too big for their home and make an awful lot of mess. We just cannot look after them anymore.
They are 8 months old, in perfect condition and have laid all through the winter. We are guaranteed to get 2 eggs a day from them, sometimes even 3.
I don't want anything for them, just a good home.
Two conditions though, is that the kids want to see a picture of their new come, just to make sure its ok (i know it will be but it keeps them happy), and they stay together.
