Hi I’ve 6 five week quail chicks suddenly 2 of them have gone very lethargic and their eyes are shut they just seem to want to hide from the other birds and are hardly moving can anybody advi me please I’m new with quials ?

Hi Ricky.
While waiting for a reply from someone who knows more about quail than me, is it possible to isolate the sick birds from the others & to treat the ground in the enclosure with ground sanitising powder?

Hi I cleaned the brooder out this evening using a surface cleaner and fresh wood chip I’ll seperate the sick birds in the morning when I’ve somewhere to put them thanks for the advice

If you were posting about chickens I would immediately say coccidiosis. Are they pooing blood (black and sticky)?
