This was going to be a post about my ex-batts, but I can't upload the pictures...

"I adopted our third batch of ex-batts via the BHWT almost a year ago, in mid-October 2021. Here's how they looked at the time"

No, it's not working. The forum says the pictures are too big & after resizing the photo of them all together in Google photos (I'm on my android phone) the image has disappeared. I can still see it on my phone, but when I click on "attach files" it doesn't show up anymore. It won't let me upload any of the other pictures from last year either. Yet I was able to post a picture (in another thread) that I took this afternoon??? ?

There used to be a number of useful pinned posts at the top of the forum (a veritable FAQs). Please can we have it back? Pinned posts that I'd particularly like to see would be
1) (not surprisingly) How to post photos, including from a phone, and

2) what "normal" chicken poos can look like (I found that one very reassuring when I started keeping chickens!)

Posting photos is much easier on the new software, and I’ve edited my post about how to do it. There isn’t a Preview page any more, but if a picture hasn’t come up right, it’s easy to click on it to delete it and start again.

Yes this used to be a pinned post, but has slipped down the list among a bunch of Hello! posts from new members. Maybe it would be good to restore it as a separate locked thread, Josh, as part of the Welcome package?
Also I couldn’t find the Forum Rules, and although we are a peaceable lot on here on the whole, it would be good to have them back as part of the Welcome section, just so we’re covered if we ever get any problems in the future.
I haven’t looked through all the sections but I know that most of them used to have one or more particularly pertinent pinned posts at the top of their lists.
