A new cocktail, we await the announcement of the name and ingredients, unless they are secret

It’s a Negroni but with vodka rather than gin. So that’s equal parts of Red Vermouth, Campari and Vodka with loads of ice and a wedge of lime.
We really wanted Long Island Tea but our local shop does not stock Tequila. C’est la vie!

This year, I made both plum brandy liqueur and sloe gin. After bottling both for gifts, I had about half a small bottle of each left. So I mixed them. It's absolutely delicious! Much better than either on their own.
I shall raise a glass to you all tomorrow night!

I could match you with the homemade plum brandy LadyA but mine has sugar and either ginger or quince added to it to make it into a liqueur. I'd better not drink it like a cocktail, its a bit too poky!

Happy New Year Everyone.

Mine has sugar too and spices. And yeah, you wouldn't drink it as a cocktail either. Little liqueur glass full is enough. Although, my Eastern European son in law and his compatriots down it as shots.

I've still got some 2013 elderberry vodka & damson gin in the cupboard, both of which need drinking. I was on garden leave from work that autumn so I did lots of walking (to keep my spirits up) & lots of foraging (to get my spirits flavoured!) :D

Gosh are things that bad Marigold?

Love both of the New Year resolutions, the second one really describes my ex!

I don't make any as the chances of keeping them are so small. This year I'm content just to see what happens especially as I'm still clearing a paperwork backlog.
