Merry Christmas, Nadolig Llawen, and we both hope you all have a good Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

I think we have put the world to rights between us, made each other laugh, and managed to stay sane in this mad year, it's a great forum full of lovely people

Merry Christmas, BYM and all.

Christmas plans have gone pear shaped for me, nothing to do with covid. But, these things happen especially when it just doesn't enter others' heads that they could step up to the plate and help. "Ask them " I'm told. But the way I see it, in the circumstances that've come up, I shouldn't need to ask.

But anyway, it is what it is, and in the greater scheme of things and the pandemic, it doesn't really matter.

And things might turn out better after all than I think. [emoji1696]

Nadolig Llawen i bawb. Merry Christmas everyone. Thank you for all the laughs, serious discussions and quirkiness through the past twelve months, it's all been a great help.

I understand exactly what you mean Lady A but other people don't always see when they could help or else they see you as very competent and don't realise you need help. I've been in similar situations a number of times and now I ask if I need help and find people are generally ready to do so.

So todays the day. We’re going for a walk with Skip down to the pier crunching through the snow. Not a complete white out but plenty of the white stuff. Then back for salmon, scrambled eggs and champers. Spoilt brats? Yep.

We went for a walk early before it was light, Oh picks up a bag and rubber gloves I said " surely you're not going to pick up rubbish on Christmas day"
"why not as we go by a rubbish bin I can pop it in"
So off we trot and pick up Costa cups, Red bull cans and a few other bits, when OH starts delving into the hedge
"leave it if it's in the hedge leave it for the road sweepers"
Then she emerged triumphantly clutching two £10 pound notes, and a soggy McDonalds bag.
That's what I call a result

Brilliant!

No walks here today. Unbelievable rain, all day! Rainfall weather warnings from midnight last night until 11 tonight! Thankfully, bad as it was here, we didn't get the worst. Other areas, villages cut off, roads washed away. [emoji44]
