Mystery Ducks

[Darkwings]

When I first joined several weeks ago I had just rescued two ducklings. Their breed was unknown. dorsetduckowner ventured a guess at Appleyards, but I still have no idea. So for your guessing pleasure... Daphne and Donald.

Well they are both female! Mallard feathering, could be mallards.

Yeah, we named the one Donald when we first got them because he was twice as big as the other, so we assumed male. Obviously not male now, but still haven't changed her name. Maybe Donna? lol As babies they didn't look like mallards. I'll post a baby picture. I'm sure that feathering is fairly common in female ducks. Nothing too distinguishing about it. I hadn't thought about doing a prize. What sort of prize would you like? lol

They look like they had little mohicans as babies so maybe they are a mohican/mallard cross? 10
