100%! What an excellent result! You've certainly got plenty, this time, well done. The girls should be laying by about the end of April - I wonder how many girls you will have?

i will have to sort them all out eventually and sell the boys, i might keep one with the girls, i was only thinking of keeping 8, but i do have room for them all as hubby has built another run for them.

Good luck with that, i could never find anyone who just wanted boys! And even after I found out which were the boys and separated them because they'd raped the girls and made them bleed all over the place, they just went on fighting among themselves. Each hatch, I got far more boys than girls and ended up culling them all, after which the girls settled down and laid happily every day for about 3 years. Maybe you'll have better luck, I hope so!

They look gorgeous!
It seems a shame to ask, but when the males become a problem, could you eat them? At least you'll know that they've had a good life...

hello Icemaiden i am a vegetarian so i won't be eating them.
my hubby eat's meat but he said he couldn't kill them.
i am hoping that someone might need fresh breeding stock to add to their flock, otherwise i will have to give them away to someone who wants to eat them. or maybe a boy pen i have enough room now hubby has build another enclosure.
they are growing nicely and looks like i will have some nice colours.

Yes a lovely variety there, Rita. They grow so fast, don't they? I like the stage when their stubby little wing feathers start erupting.

Ahh, so pretty. Makes me think of hatching some more myself.
I think it's 'grandmother syndrome'. Good thing I sold the incubator!
