Well Marigold, bantam faverolles make wonderful pets, they do lay well a smallish medium pink tinted egg. They have a lovely placid nature and love to follow you around the garden chattering endlessly! :D :D They have feathered feet so don't do much damage, anyway in warm weather they prefer to find a nice border to sunbathe while gossiping to each other! :D

Oh those are beautiful Foxy! Are they your own breeding?

Yes,I have bantam faverolles in buff, ermine, salmon, blue, black and splash. Will be working on lavender this year hopefully! I have large salmon faverolles too, all my own strains ;) :D

Oh wow! I'm on a promise for bantam salmon favs later on this year! I am so looking forward to getting them. I had some, but lost them as chicks with just one chick growing on - a boy. Sadly foxy loxy got in 2010 and got him and seven others birds of various ages and breeds.

Enjoy - and thank you for putting up the pics of the chicks - any chance of pics of the adults? Or are they on here somewhere already? A link would be good if they are! :)

foxy, they are just beautiful! I love the Ermine Faverolles on the website. They are definitely going on my list of 'most wanted'! Are you showing at the Dawlish show this weekend?
