He!ok to all. I am relatively new to keeping chickens which I keep on my allotment. At the moment I have a flock of three lead by Mrs McCarthy (fans of Father Brown will know why) soon to double up to six.

Hi Hamsterhead and welcome to the Forum. Looking forward to hearing more about your birds. Is there a security problem on your allotment?

We get the occasional shed break-in. Chickens are well protected. They have a coop inside a metal fenced run and if they behave i let them out into a netted compound for the day. I would attach a picture but not sure how.

Try this;
Click on Full Editor and Preview under the text box.
Then on Attachments + Add Files - Photo library. Your own photo stream will appear.
Choose the pic you want from your own photo stream. You’ll probably need to reduce the file size to 400 x 600, or 600 x400 for landscape. Either use the software on your device, or download a free image reduction app. If on a phone, choose Medium for size.
Place the cursor within your post, where you want the pic to be. Click on Place inline, below the text box.
Then click on Preview to check what has happened. The preview box will appear above the text box and will show the picture, not just a text file link.
If happy with it, click on Submit under the text box.
