Fighting turkeys

We have three males and 5 females. One of the males is 'strutting his stuff' and also attacking the other males and occasionally the females as well. The others are very docile. Should we intervene or just let them sort themselves out? I am concerned that he may seriously injure them - is this likely? :(

Yes, it is very likely that he will injure the others, the more dominant he becomes, the worse he will become. You have enough females to separate each male with one girl, and three for the most dominant male, so i would suggest that is what you do to stop it before he kills one of them, which is what Turkeys can and will do. Even if you put the other two males together with no females, they will eventually begin to fight as they too mature. Male Turkeys are very strange birds, they will live quite happily together for ages, then all of a sudden one becomes master, and gets very nasty.
