cross breed bbb

hey guys! I purchased a bronze broad breasted turkey about five months ago as a pet. Recently i decided i wanted to breed so i started to research and found that the toms for this breed get too large to naturally breed. So my question is, what kind of turkey can be crossbred with this breed? mainly for a small pet/food flock so im not picky on specifics but maybe a pretty breed.

I breed and raise homer pigeons so i have experience with eggs and breeding.

Hmmm not sure.... MIKS would probably know next time he's around.

I'm guessing something smaller that can be successful at doing what's necessary. I think commercially they would use AI?

The link above shows some breeds of turkey, i think the palm turkey is very beautiful, shame that they are not capable of reproducing naturally.

If you have a hen BBB, then I'd get a tom Standard Bronze heritage turkey and let them date for a while....
