Hey, Josh, that’s lovely!
I like the clean new format very much, and shall enjoy exploring the new capabilities. I’m not sure how the Conversations button is intended to work. Would that be mainly as a sort of WhatsApp if a smaller group of people wanted to continue chatting about a particular topic without involving everyone else?
I clicked on the bell symbol and was delighted to find I’d already been awarded some prizes for posting!
I added a short comment under BYM’s post, about the air show pictures, which has stayed there on the new site but hasn’t transferred to this old one. I’m very happy to see you’ve managed to move the archived threads over as well, Josh, there’s such a lot of useful stuff in there. So I expect we should all move over straight away to the new site, and post on there, not this one, from now on, as otherwise it won’t be possible to hold continuous conversations. When we start to use it, we can then give Josh feedback about how it’s going.

There must be hosting and running costs involved in the change to a new provider, so please can we talk about these, and get our subscriptions running from now on a basis which covers your outlay?
Previously I’ve had to nag Tim to tell us what would cover his costs, he’s been too nice to ask, but it would be good to get it on a sustainable basis.
