Hope someone can help.. I'm looking for some Bresse Gauloise eggs to incubate at home. Does anyone know of anywhere that has these and can send via mail? I've done the usual googles to no avail

Any help would be much appreciated

I have seen BG eggs on ebay in the past, but never look of course, means that there are breeders in this country though.
I think there may be a rare breeds club around, a google will give you some information, and also possible a list of breeders.

But i think most of us would advise against setting eggs to incubate at this time of year. Not only should the parent birds be healthier and more potent if you wait until Spring, but you will be hatching at the natural time of year, when it will be warmer and lighter, and the chicks will be able to go out of doors sooner and get the benefit of sunshine to assist their growth. Winter- hatched chicks need a lot of heat and light, and space indoors to cater for their needs as they grow. Maybe best to research breeders over the next 3 months and try to find a reliable source of eggs? There are many stories of eBay eggs not coming up to expectations, so read the seller's feedback at least, before spending lots of money on what may not turn out to be as you hoped for.
