Black and Grey Frizzles

May I introduce Booboo (black) and Doris (grey).

Booboo is driven by her stomach, a follower, she tags along the other girls, and always afraid to miss out on something she'll run a 100m in less than a second if she thinks the others are getting something good. She lays the smallest, roundest (if that's a word) and cutest eggs of the flock.

Doris is more independent and will roam her own side of the garden quite happily on her own, but will rejoin the others for company - and to ensure she doesn't miss out on anything. She will protect her bounty when she's found a nice juicy worm or some frog's legs (urghhh). She's the most authoritative of the lot as well. Not very motherly I must say, and doesn't get broody easily if at all to be fair!!!.

They both love roaming in the garden when it's raining, especially Doris. She does get in a bit of a state though and ends up looking like a rat but that's about it... A bit of mud doesn't deter from trying and dig a dust bath nor scratching around for worms. It's Incredible how they quickly get back to looking fluffed up and clean once they get to dry up lol

They have their days but generally they really don't mind a fuss... Especially if we happen to have some treats ??
Booboo the black one is my husband's and she likes to perch herself on top of him....

Hard to tell which end of Doris is which, in the snow pic! Would make a good one for a caption competition. Booboo looks quite indignant about it all. 'Call this a Christmas dinner?"
Much cosier on your husband's nice comfy shoulder.
