Cheery Pics

That reminds me of when I was given directions to a canal restoration weekend, where the directions said to turn west onto a ringroad. It was cloudy, so there wasn't a hint of sun to give me a clue...
My dyscalculia means I can't even tell left from right, without checking which hand my wedding ring is on!

I'm with the bird...
Not me, fter a horrible night last night. One of those nights when I just couldn't get to sleep until the not-so-early-anymore hours, then when I finally did get to sleep, had a horrible, weird dream that woke me up again! I was done with today before I even got up!

Few shots of the Galeon Andalucía at Southend Pier this am, a replica of a 17C ship of the same name. She berthed at 10 40am and the pier doesn't open until 10.15. The first train down wasn't until after 10.30, so it was a mad run along the pier, Ruth is way fitter than me she made it down there easy and got a pic before she berthed. You can see how big she is a she towers over the RNLI station, much bigger than her sister ship NAO Victoria.
She tours the world teaching about life for sailors in days gone by, and we have tickets to go on board Friday
Some person had already knitted a post topper for the post box at the end of the pier. Up until recently you could post letters in it and have them franked with Southend Pier, but that has stopped now
