What a glorious day! Started off misty and chilly, but the sun came out, and it was actually warm out there in the afternoon! Lawn mowed, and another raised bed filled with soil. Gosh, though, shovelling and wheelbarrowing soil from those ton bags is very hard work!! I've three more beds to fill. Really looking forward to seeing the veg growing in the Summer! Happy Days!

Another beautiful day! I wonder if the lack of aeroplanes has anything to do with it :-) The environment is going to be far cleaner during this lock down.

Equally good here. A real pleasure to be out (in my own fields). People are ringing me every day to check I’m OK. Keep forgetting my age. Initially I think why are they ringing me?

I was going to snap my lambs when they come in 3weeks but if I use my iPad then I can’t post them on here. I’ve tried the method recommended but I can’t make it work.
Anyone who knows how to do it prepared to receive the pic as an email then post it for me?
Did anyone respond to this HenGen? Have sent you a pm with my email and a willing to have a try.

I treated myself to a 6 mile walk today in the sunshine. Saw wild primroses, the first English bluebells of the year and some lovely white flowers that someone on the forum is sure to be able to put a name to (wood anemones perhaps?

This is definitely a consolation- being able to go for a walk...

Chickens are a girl's best friend (though diamonds would be nice too!)

Yes, wood anemones. What a lovely sight, our house in the UK was close to some ancient woodland, full of spring flowers, particularly the bluebells. It seems early for them, something extra to enjoy.

Yes I thought they were very early too. Global warming plus a sheltered spot I expect. Lovely anyway!

Went for long walk around local fields and beautiful Yellow Wagtail flew over calling and landed in field, a real spring migrant

How lovely!

Much colder here today. We had a few lovely Spring days, but today, the temps have dropped and there's a bitter wind! I haven't had to use any heat in the house the last few days, except a little electric heater for an hour or so at night, but I will be lighting the stove today! However, cold or not, it's bright out, and I have a full line of laundry hanging outside! :)
