Bluebell in winter?

Post by Tweetypie » Sat Jan 11, 2020 10:25 pm

Just a bit of fun, Miss Muffet trying to impersonate a "bluebell" in the rockery :-)
Thought I would let the girls out for half hour each day whilst they can't do too much damage.

Never mind the ‘bluebell’. That’s a seriously good bit of planting there. Whilst I have no garden myself I have always appreciated good gardens.

What a lovely garden, very well planted out. Miss Muffat looks very nice out there, and she knows it :D

It's good to see a winter garden with so much colour and interest - and added chicken!

Thank you so much. It looks very untidy at the moment, but I am gobsmacked that the lithodora I have planted at the front still keeps on flowering. The large conifers were already there when we moved, but I have built the small walls with old stones. I wanted a whole blue fountain of flowers cascading down. I had to add more last year so hopefully they will spread as the others have. My favourite shrub is the chinese witchhazel, which has magenta flowers. I had to google what it was as I don't know much about gardening. Roll on Spring, when the flowers start to bloom....
