Poor old Lily is in the wars. She seems to have somehow managed to tear the delicate rim to her nostril on something when digging in the woodchip. Her nostril now seems to be blocked by what I presume is mud as she's still digging, but not sure if nostrils bleed (as they are hard).
I have cleaned her beak up with water on a cotton bud, but her nostril keeps blocking up and not sure if this is going to cause a long term issue or not. She is deffinately irritated by it, as shaking her head and not able to breathe through her nose very well, so beak is open.
not sure what to do, just leave it?

Might be a bit more to that BB. They have plenty of airways and can breath through the roof of the mouth or under the tongue. Sounds like it could be mucus buildup combined with dust and the tear is just co-incidental. Unfortunately I don't know how you would flush it out anyway? These things are flushed out when they drink normally and many of ours blow out their nostrils after drinking from a bowl. Is she chest wheezy?

No wheezing and been immunised against IB so healthy and ok I think. She's lively and eating ok, just seems to be breathing through her mouth.
