I check the perches for red mite daily & have dusted the birds & sprayed the house with poultryshield before I put them in (although the house is brand new - I bought it specially so I could separate the older ones from the younger ones after the last event!). If it was some sort of disease I would have thought they would go in numbers, rather than 1 at a time. I've wormed them with Vermx too, but I'm a fairly new pekin keeper, so I'm at a loss.
