Yes, she was three weeks old in that photo. She was tricky to sex though as she had quite a lot of dark in her wing feathers before the buff appeared and I was advised a week or so before to cull her as someone was adamant that she was a boy. Glad I waited a bit longer. This is her now.

She really is a beauty Kegs. Think I am warming to Faverolles, but would like Brahma's as well.

I can't recommend them enough. They are so friendly and although the cockerels are very noisy, they are particularly tasty! ;)

I did notice at the shows the cockerels were quite aggressive. As for noise they won't beat Wyandottes. They are already on my tasty list with Marsh Daisys and TNN's Kegs.

I didn't know that TNN's were a good table bird (I'm a poultry novice) and after plucking by hand 3 Faverolle cockerel with their never ending neck feathers the TNN's are looking far more appealing!

Yes I remember reading that on another forum...I pm'd the mod to say I was pretty she was a girl :D

She has grown into a special hen Kegs, well done! :-)08
