Outdoor Temp Verification Pls!

Postby pachpoultry » Thu Mar 11, 2010 7:49 pm

So I was thinking about moving the Ducklings outside now... they are about 4 wks old now... I just wanted some verification of it being alright to send them out now so that Im not a worry wart
Here is a link of our Weather for the next couple weeks... it should stay the same give or take 5 degrees up or down... http://www.weather.com/weather/print/50478 ... is this alright? Is it still alright to give them "pool time" while in the coop?
Thx all!

Hi, i would start putting them out -just for an hour or two at first- then slowly increase time outside- they should be fine once feathered up- just a case of watching them- ducks have a lot of fat and dont feel the cold as much as chickens- plus they are waterproof once feathered! :)
