Ferret outside the run ..snooping around the edge of the girls run looking for a way to get into them ..circled the outside of the run about 5 times --girls were on red alert ..managed to cafe up the ferret and drop it off in woods in nearby village .So glad we seen it before we went out ..god knows what it woulda done if it had managed to get to the girls :(

Fortunately that's not a problem we have ever had Lornsy. The mink we had didn't attempt to break into the Chicken enclosures, just killed all the wild ducks on the canal. I only saw it once, but knew when it had been down our stretch of the canal by the silence.

As far as I am aware they only kill one and eat it. As opposed to a fox which kills everything. Just hope it doesn't find its way back.
