What a relief!

It must have been for one of the Sussex to push her first egg of the season out. A whopping 100g, I can't close the egg box on it, will be interesting to see if it is a double yolker.

Never had one that big from a Sussex, or anything else for that matter!

Me neither, the biggest I've had previous to this was about 85g, this one looks more like a turkey egg.

Never had one that big either, that must have brought tears to her eyes. Might be a triple yolker

Don't let Hope hear about that, or she'll never pay her first egg!!
Chickens are a girl's best friend (though diamonds would be nice too!)

Two huge eggs from our Light Sussex today. 95g and 100g. Must be something in the air. Or a celebration of return to warmer weather
