Infected duck bill? Suggestions please!
While working in the garden with three ducklings underfoot (on Monday), the duckling moved right where I was working. His bill got in the way of my tool. Today, his bill appeared slightly swollen and a cut is now visible. Any suggestions on how to clean it out? Thanks.

Ahh I always worry about that happening!!!
If it isnt too bad then I would pack it with manuka honey and/or lanolin.
Depending on where you are in the world, you can buy various types of cream for cracked nipples (breastfeeding). make sure the stuff is pure lanolin, nothing else. You can also get something from the vet which is a mixture of lanolin and manuka honey.
Poor baby!
